10 Best Ever WrestleMania Follow-Up Pay-Per-Views

1. Backlash 2000

Not only did Backlash 2000 thoroughly outshine the disappointing WrestleMania 2000, but it's without question one of the greatest WWE pay-per-views of all time. The ending alone, in which Stone Cold Steve Austin makes a one-night return from injury rehab to help The Rock tear down Triple H and the Corporation in the WWE Championship match, is instant goosebumps on any viewing.

While the main event and its closing moments get the most glory, a Dean Malenko-Scotty 2 Hotty bout for the Light Heavyweight Championship was sleeper match of the night, showing that Scotty was more than just a limber crowd pleaser. Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho give the usual sterling performance in an Intercontinental title match. Overall, the show was one of the Attitude Era's finest nights, and if you've never seen it, get to watching.
