It's mostly a two-match show, but what a two matches they were. Among the bigger stories coming out of WrestleMania 20 were Chris Benoit's World Championship victory, and wet-behind-the-ears Randy Orton pinning Mick Foley clean as a sheet. Backlash continued those red-hot tales in Edmonton with feud enders worthy of etched history.

Orton not only beat Foley in an Intercontinental title match with no rules, but the closely-protected WWE youngster earned his stripes with some crazy bumps, including a failed RKO that saw him deposited on thumbtacks. Meanwhile, Benoit makes good on his homecoming by winning a rematch over Shawn Michaels and Triple H, this time forcing Michaels to give up to the Sharpshooter in, where else, Canada. The fact that Earl Hebner presided over the fall made it a bit sweeter.
