10 Best Ever WWE WrestleMania Entrances

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin (WrestleMania 13)

1997 wasn't the year Stone Cold Steve Austin made his WrestleMania debut, but it frankly might as well have been. He'd defeated Savio Vega in a heatless encounter the year prior, liberally using self-styled albatrosses Ted Dibiase and the Million Dollar Belt itself to defeat the 'Caribbean Legend'.

He was without such anchors ahead of industry-altering clash with Bret Hart. Everything had changed for Austin, including a shift from sinister 'Ringmaster' strings to his iconic 'Stone Cold' classic. Glass smashed at the start of his pulsating 'Bulls On Parade' homage theme, foreshadowing the uncompromising chaos that came with his presence. He tromped over a pile of it that had just seconds earlier adorned his 'Austin 3:16' credo, expertly unmoved by the petty pageantry as he jaw-jacked his way towards immortality in a match that revived, renewed and reinvigorated Vince McMahon's entire empire.

It came to sum up the shifting fortunes of both 'The Rattlesnake' and 'The Hitman'. A used, abused and unenthused Hart had to gingerly tiptoe over the detritus left from his opponent's arrival. He yet again had every right to feel infuriated, but had no control over the powerful winds of change blowing through his very existence.
