Booker T and Goldust were the epitome of comedic chemistry in wrestling. The two were the perfect odd couple proving that, in the right hands, a random pairing with no grand plan can become one of the most popular aspects of the show.

If you have some time to kill and fancy a treat, then simply YouTube the pair's greatest moments and enjoy a mix of the absurd and athletic. After feuds with the likes of the nWo and Un Americans, fans longed for them to capture the Tag Team Championships, thus validating their investment in the likeable pairing.

At Armageddon 2002, they finally got their chance against three other talented teams. After quick eliminations for the Dudleys and the team of Regal and Storm, the match came down to the champions and Book Dust.

For the next ten plus minutes, the four men crafted a rather rudimentary set of exchanges that exploded with a hot tag to Booker T. The rest was pure entertainment as Booker avoided the closest of three counts before picking up the win for his team.

The emotion felt genuine, and the aftermath stands as one of the most fulfilling moments for a fan of the era. Though it may have been a bit bloated with the other teams involved, when the match hit the higher gears, you couldn't argue with its quality.
