Perhaps the most famous image change in wrestling history, and one which ran synonymous with the WCW's increasing success in the mid-90s, Hulk Hogan's infamous 1996 heel turn saw the rise of 'Hollywood'. The nWo's "third man" shockingly turned his back on the image upon which he'd popularised the very industry, adopting a new black and white attire in place of his iconic red and yellow. The bandana and facial hair remained, but they too became black, and Hogan even began to sport a pair of unmistakably heelish shades. The change breathed new life into the very idea of Hulk Hogan, revitalising his career and waning popularity. All good things come to an end, but for several years, the biggest babyface in wrestling history became its most dastardly bad guy.
