10 Best Impact Wrestling World Champions Of All Time

1. Bobby Roode

If there's anyone who came out of their shell while holding the Impact World Championship, it's without a doubt Bobby Roode.

In Impact, The It Factor had typically been associated with someone else - be it in Team Canada or Beer Money, Roode never really got the proper chances to show what he was capable of in singles action. While his run through the 2011 Bound For Glory Series (a tournament he would go on to win) was decent enough, his heel turn on partner James Storm that allowed him to win the title was one of the greatest moments from his Impact career.

While in possession of the title, Bobby became much more charismatic and arrogant. Of course, these were already two traits associated with him, but he used them to full effect here. It's what Impact needed at this time - a cocky lad that was so easy to detest. That's what makes for a great World Champion though. If you can get a big enough reaction, either good or bad, then you're clearly doing something right.

His reign of 256 days remains the longest in the title's history so far, and rightfully so. Some would call it glorious...
