Believe it or not, Samoa Joe only had the one reign with the Impact World Championship. During the 182 days he spent on top though, a trail of destruction was left as The Nation of Violence was unleashed on the Impact roster. The match he won it in - a Title vs. Career Steel Cage Match against Kurt Angle - is often hailed as one of the best matches in Impact history.

Joe's reign as the face of Impact saw some rather good wrestling throughout, with his 2008 summer feud against Booker T being fairly decent as The Samoan Submission Machine looked like a complete monster the entire time. Even in losing the gold Joe still looked a star. The Bound For Glory match that saw him lose the title to Sting, like the match he won it in, is classed as another of Impact's great bouts from years gone by.

It's amazing that he only ever held the title on one occasion. You could argue that he wasn't booked properly by Impact as a result but that's hardly the case. He didn't need the World Championship to make his presence felt - everyone knew the name of Samoa Joe.
