While not a work rate classic by any stretch, Chyna's Intercontinental Championship showdown with a then-WWF rookie Chris Jericho boasts major historical significance. Widely expected to be the beginning of 'Y2J's push, fans' jaws dropped when 'The Ninth Wonder of the World' picked up the win in just under 14 minutes.

One of the most compelling aspects of the match, and the pair's rivalry in general at the time, was the clash of such polar opposite personalities. Where Chyna was presented as a dominant force knocking down barriers in women's wrestling, Jericho was having fun as a cocky, cunning heel who'd caught on with fans due to his funny promo work.

In the ring, the pair were often stiff, something both complained about in the years after. To viewers, however, the intensity and lack of grace added to the aggressive atmosphere as Jericho went so far as to try strangling his foe with a camera cord on the outside.

In one of the more dangerous takes on Triple H's iconic Pedigree finisher, Chyna put the future inaugural AEW World Champion away with it from the top rope. The sheer ridiculousness of the finish was enough to keep the feud going into the next PPV as a furious Jericho sought revenge. A fun, high-energy clash, this was arguably Chyna's best intergender effort yet at the time.
