The only triple threat match on the list, this may not be as good out of context but the fact that this was the scene of Jeff's first World Championship triumph should not be overlooked. At this point Hardy had seen more false starts than most, it was seemingly increasingly likely that WWE simply didn't view him as a top guy. As a result, the three-count to end this was met with a cacophony of genuine emotion.

Triple H has always been pretty great in a triple threat environment hasn't he? The man understands WWE pacing and style better than anyone, and he provided the perfect anchor for this match. The real story being told was the Edge/Jeff beef, and Hunter allowed that to play out whilst lurking around enough to seem likely to pick up the win.

It's all about the finish though. Jeff looks like he is poised to hit Edge with a Swanton before he gets crotched by Hx3, allowing The Game to hit Edge with a Pedigree. Hardy survives and hits a Swanton to take out Helmsley. He covers Edge, the referee counts to three and a dream is realised.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
