10 Best Lucha Libre Wrestlers In The World Right Now

4. Fénix

Lucha Underground

Aged just 26, Fénix has years ahead of him and is already at the very top of his game. Another AAA star who lit up Lucha Underground when agreeing to join the upstart promotion, Fénix has produced blistering matches with the likes of King Cuerno and Mil Muertes. That latter match was a casket bout, taking place during the promotion's first season.

Winning titles in his native homeland as well as in Chikara (King Of Trios with Aero Star and Drago) and Lucha Underground (Fénix was the first Triple Crown Champ in the organisation's history), the masked man is seriously someone every wrestling fan deserves to see.

Along with his expert precision when flying through the air, Fénix also has a strong ground game. This can be rare for high-flyers who are expected to perfect aerial moves, and possessing both skill sets shows how good he is.

Another who has an air of a young Rey Mysterio about him, Fénix is a credit to any promotion he works for. In particular, Lucha Underground would be a lot less enthralling if he wasn't around.
