8. Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. The Usos

The fact that Heath Slater and Rhyno were the first ever SmackDown Tag-Team Champions was the answer to a trivia question as soon as it happened. Going into Backlash 2016, most expected WWE to pull the rug from beneath their endearing underdog story and give The Usos the belts. When that didn't happen, Richmond popped.

These trailer-park-living, cheese-on-crackers-eating sons of bitches had done it.

Slater and Rhyno vs. Jimmy and Jey isn't the most technically proficient match you're ever likely to see. Then again, that wasn't the point. They had a story to tell, and they successfully teased the audience (who badly wanted to see an unlikely win) to the point of exhaustion before delivering that feel-good moment.

This was great tag-team wrestling. It made sense, psychologically pulled people to and fro, and it ended with a satisfying glimmer of hope for the hard-working Heath.
