Fancy another NXT gem? You got it.

EC3's WWE career was about as uninspiring as they come. He just wasn't used to his full potential, and was wasting away sitting on the sidelines waiting for something to happen. It sucks that he's on the unemployment line (especially in the current climate), but man, he had to be sick and tired of the way things were going.

Looking back at his NXT run is a mental reprieve then. At TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, Carter and the typically-excellent Velveteen Dream produced a 15-minute match that must be considered a highlight of EC3's second stint in McMahon land. Arguably, it could've been even better had they shaved a minute or two off it too.

It was a toss-up between this one and EC3's later match against Adam Cole for his best work. The Dream one wins out, if only because it took place on a bigger stage than regular telly and showed what Carter could do if he was handed the right opponent and some time to work with.
