10 Best Matches In WWE NXT History
4. Sasha Banks Vs. Bayley (TakeOver: Respect) (2015)
There's a whole list of reasons why fans last year were so keen on the idea of Sasha Banks turning heel to set up a summer feud with Bayley, and this match from October 2015 was right at the top of it.
A 30-minute Ironman bout, this was the very first match of its kind in WWE history. It was both a historic day for the company's burgeoning female division and the climax of a thrilling feud that had produced some of the best NXT matches of the year.
The booking here was fabulous; another example of exactly why so many have been calling for Vince McMahon to allow the writers who preside over WWE's developmental arm to be handed the Monday Night Raw reigns.
With the scores locked at 2-2 for nearly the whole of the match's second half, Bayley pinched the decisive fall with a a single second left on the clock, forcing Sasha to tap out to an arm-bar in a pulsating finish that ensured both competitors walked out with more credibility than they had going in.
