10 Best Matches In WWE TLC History

6. Sheamus Vs. John Morrison (2010)

During 2010 Sheamus and John Morrison had themselves a pretty excellent rivalry, trading wins that seemed to matter rather than just being the usual 50/50 booking that has damaged most of the WWE midcard over the last decade. Sheamus beat JoMo in the King of the Ring final, and they faced each other at TLC in 2010 for the prize of being number one contender to the WWE Championship. Morrison was known for his innovation, and he certainly came to the party in this ladder match. Sheamus more than played his party too, upping the brutality to fit the match. Part of the story centred around Morrison and his injured leg, with Sheamus focusing on it throughout the bout. The finish was a delight too. After a brutal 20-minute bout, Morrison is climbing the ladder in tired fashion, only for Sheamus to come in and topple it towards the ropes. Morrison is the parkour king of course, so he balances off the top rope, bounces back and Flying Chuck's the Irish King in the face before ripping down the contract.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
