10 Best MMA Fighters Of The 2010s

7. Ronda Rousey

Decade Record: 12-2

Much like Askren before her on the list, Ronda Rousey's two defeats at the end of her career shouldn't deny her the undefeated legacy she crafted beforehand, becoming a trailblazer for women's MMA and a global superstar thanks to her dominance in the cage.

From March 2011 to August 2015, Rousey went on a 12-fight undefeated streak, quickly becoming the face of a rapidly growing women's revolution in the MMA world.

The Olympic Bronze medallist and Judo champion ran roughshod, finishing 11 of her 12 wins inside 66 seconds, on top of that, she went on a crazy streak of eight Armbar finishes in a row!

She knocked off Miesha Tate to win the Strikeforce Bantamweight Championship in her fifth professional fight, before the promotion was dissolved into the UFC and she was awarded the UFC title of the same division.

She would prove beyond a doubt that she was deserving of the gold, with only one of her six title defences lasting more than a minute.

Her record six defences came against names like Liz Carmouche, a rematch with Tate, Cat Zingano and Bethe Correia. It would all unravel with the now-famous Holly Holm head kick in Melbourne, but no one can deny her star power, impact on the sport and unwavering dominance over her competition.
