10 Best MMA Fighters Of The 2010s

6. Tony Ferguson

Decade Record: 17-1

Possibly the greatest fighter to never have a World Championship fight, Tony Ferguson has spent his last ten years accruing a 12-fight win streak, with just one loss from 18 bouts across that period.

El Cucuy launched into the UFC through the Ultimate Fighter in 2011, joining Team Lesnar in Season 13 of the reality show.

He would cruise through the competition, winning the Welterweight Tournament by finishing three of his four fights in the first round. He quickly moved to Lightweight and began placing himself as a highlight reel on any card.

Having already amassed a 7-1 record in the UFC in his first eight bouts, the California native really came into his own in 2015, kicking into gear as he began to perfect his style. Ferguson's submission victory over Gleison Tibau at UFC 184 was the first of eight fights in a row that won him either Fight of the Night or Performance of the Night.

This includes wins over some of the Lightweight division's best and brightest like Edson Barboza, Rafael Dos Anjos, Kevin Lee, Anthony Pettis and Donald Cerrone.

Some injury hiccups and the illusive Khabib Nurmagomedov fight have kept Ferguson from cementing his legacy as the greatest Lightweight of all time, but he's not far from the mark.
