10 Best MMA Wrestling Crossovers
1. Brock Lesnar
Whether you love or hate Brock Lesnar, there's no denying the impact "The Beast Incarnate" has had in both pro-wrestling and MMA.
Lesnar made his WWE debut on a March 2002 episode of Raw and was immediately pushed as a potential megastar thanks to his huge size and aggressive fighting style. In his three year tenure Lesnar became a three time WWE champion as well as winning the King of the Ring and Royal Rumble, before controversially leaving the company after WrestleMania XX to pursue a career in the NFL.
After his NFL career failed to ignite, Lesnar made his MMA debut for the K-1 Dynamite promotion before attracting the attention of the UFC. In a parallel to his wrestling career, Lesnar was given an immediate push despite his limited experience, and in only his fourth pro fight defeated Randy Couture to win the UFC Heavyweight title. Lesnar would defend his title against Frank Mir and Shane Carwin before his career was cut short thanks to a long-running battle with gastroenteritis. He announced his retirement after a loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141.
To the surprise of many, Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012, using a more shoot-based fighting style in main event programs with John Cena and Triple H. Lesnar would claim a further three WWE championship reigns as well as become a three time Universal Champion. In 2014, he ended The Undertaker's fabled undefeated streak at WrestleMania.
Lesnar recently returned to WWE programming in a main event feud with Rey Mysterio, while his MMA career stands at 5 wins, 3 losses and one no contest.
