7. The End Of The Streak (1998)
Like all good things, Goldberg's WCW winning streak had to come to an end, and whether you agreed with what happened on the following night's Nitro or not (and chances are you are in the "not" camp) you have to admit this was a seminal moment in the history of professional wrestling.
Neither Goldberg nor his opponent, nWo second-in-command Kevin Nash, being exactly known for their technical prowess between the ropes, this match was less a five-star classic than it was an event literally months and months in the making (and one whose entrances probably took nearly as long as the fight itself).
But give them their due: the use of a cattle prod, laughably staged though it looked, was at least something wrestling fans hadn't seen before (or since, for that matter).
