Chyna shattered a lot of preconceptions about what a female could achieve in professional wrestling. It's no secret that WWE haven't always looked at women's wrestling as viable, but Chyna was somebody who helped shift perception in that regard. By 1999, she was being used mainly as an in-ring wrestler.

That June, she would become the first woman to enter the King Of The Ring tournament. Much as they would many times over the course of her run from 1997-2001, the company missed a trick here. Marketing her success would have been incredibly easy had she tasted victory to become the WWF's first 'Queen Of The Ring'.

It wasn't to be; Chyna fell to Road Dogg at the Quarter Final stage on the pay-per-view. Still, the match was booked as a competitive one, and nobody could deny that she had revitalised the tournament concept. The fact couldn't be stripped away: Chyna was the first woman to ever enter.

Remarkably, it wasn't the only time she could claim that about a long-running WWF concept.
