10 Best Movies Starring WWE Hall Of Famers
7. American Satan (2017)
One of the biggest fighters in the 1990s wrestling scene, Goldberg wasn't inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018, where pro-wrestling manager and promoter Paul Heyman did the honours. Although better known for his tenure with WCW, Goldberg nonetheless had several stints with the WWE, including winning the Universal Championship in 2017 and again in 2020.
The same year as winning his first Universal Championship with the promotion, Goldberg starred in the Andy Biersack sleeper hit American Satan as the tour manager and bodyguard for fictional heavy metal band The Relentless. The film sees Biersack's band move to the Sunset Strip in LA in search of a big break, where they find only chaos, debauchery and the sinister supernatural.
While Goldberg's role in the picture isn't massive, he nonetheless makes an impression and the film itself stands out as a rare gem in the typically diabolical canon of singer-fronted movies. The acting is surprisingly crisp, the soundtrack is excellent, and the band's trip through hell is only amplified by the presence of horror legend Malcolm McDowell as the creepy Mr Capricorn.
