10 Best Movies Starring WWE Hall Of Famers
5. Spider-Man (2002)
Macho Man Randy Savage prevailed as one of pro wrestling's most vibrant figures throughout his years in and out of the ring. An icon of the industry, Savage was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015 by Hulk Hogan, recognising a 32-year career, a decade of which was spent with WWF.
While the wrestling all-star was a force to be reckoned with in the ring, he only really made one appearance in a feature film -- and what an appearance it was. Featuring as cage wrestler and "Master of Disaster" Bonesaw McGraw, Savage took to the ring on-screen in Sam Raimi's now-iconic original Spider-Man.
Trying to make a few extra dollars on the side so he can impress Mary-Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst), Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) uses his new-found spider powers to enter an underground wrestling match. Here, he encounters Bonesaw, facing off in a brutal cage match that gives both Spidey and the old pro a chance to shine in "three minutes of playtime". It is easily one of the best fictional wrestling bouts committed to film (because everything in the WWE ring is 100% real, okay!), in one of the best superhero flicks of the non-MCU era.
