WrestleMania 34 was another of the more divisive WrestleManias, with a lot of heat on the Lesnar-Reigns main event in particular. However, the start to the main show could not have been better. Rollins and Bálor are both incredible wrestlers and The Miz one of the best heel characters. They combined all of that to create a Triple Threat masterclass over the IC Title.

The Intercontinental Title was enjoying an increase in prominence during this time, with the whole workman’s title reputation coming back as the belt was frequently defended in high quality matches. Come WrestleMania season, Miz was the champion and his challengers were the Kingslayer and the Demon in Not-Demon form.

It followed a classic three way formula, filled with reversals, temporary alliances, pin break-ups and the like. The end was equally amazing as a stunning series of moves ended with Rollins hitting the Stomp and becoming the latest to join the Grand Slam Champion club.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
