There is something about Ladder Matches and Tag Titles at WrestleMania. Every time we put those two things together, magic happens. The most recent of those came at WrestleMania 33, where Gallows & Anderson were initially scheduled to defend their titles in a three-way Ladder Match.

However, this is when we got one of the most jaw-dropping returns in WWE history, as the freakin Hardy Boyz, in all their broken-extreme-nostalgic brilliance, made their return to WWE.

As for the match itself, it was everything you would expect: crazy bumps, ladders being smashed into people and some sensational double team manoeuvres and counters. The closing stretch saw Jeff remind the WWE Universe that he is still every bit the crazy person he used to be, when delivering a Swanton Bomb off a ladder, onto Sheamus and Cesaro who were lying on top of bridged ladders.

Matt subsequently delivered a Twist of Fate to Karl Anderson off yet another ladder and retrieved the belts for the momentous win.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
