6. The Revival Vs American Alpha (NXT TakeOver: Dallas)
Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson had several incredible matches against Jason Jordan and Chad Gable in 2016, with their showdown during WrestleMania weekend at NXT TakeOver: Dallas probably the highlight of the lot.
Featuring double team moves and near falls aplenty, this was tag team wrestling at its best; something which has become a calling card for The Revival in NXT in 2016. The double German suplex spot is a particular highlight, if only for the facial expressions of both Dash and Dawson. In the end, American Alpha hit Grand Amplitude for the hugely popular win in front of a very hot crowd.
Their rematch two months later at NXT TakeOver: The End was great too, and had the added surprise of The Revival winning back the titles to become the first ever two-time NXT tag team champs. We sincerely hope that both of these teams are destined for big things in WWE in 2017.
