7. “Kiss My Arse, Ya’ Muppet”
While Kevin Owens is probably the king of ringside trash
talk, Sheamus took it upon himself to give the Canadian a run for his money during
his match on Raw with Cesaro.
After scoring a near-fall off the back of White Noise, Sheamus made his way to the top rope. But on his way, he momentarily paused in order to give a member of the WWE Universe a piece of his Irish mind. “Kiss my arse, ya’ muppet” he bellowed to the unfortunate fan in the front row.
He then received an uppercut for his troubles, so I guess that’s what you get for being a potty-mouth.
It’s not quite clear what the fan actually said to Sheamus, but it was presumably worse than the usual “you look stupid” chants that he tends to receive.
But whatever was said, if it means we’re going to be seeing a bit more
personality from Sheamus—or at least something beyond his “are you not
entertained?” line—then that can surely only be a good thing.
So in answer to your question, Sheamus; yes, in this instance I was entertained.
