Before it grew to have it's own PPV, WWE liked to use WrestleMania as a platform for the Money in the Bank ladder match. In 2007, Jeff Hardy, King Booker, Finlay, CM Punk, Mr. Kennedy, Matt Hardy, Randy Orton, and Edge all put their bodies on the line for a chance at the title of their choosing.

Just from the list of names alone there was potential for some incredible story telling throughout the match. Matt and Jeff working both together and against each other, Edge's history and rivalry with Matt, and the tension between the members of Rated RKO.

The match lived up to its hype, starting at break neck speed and rarely slowing down. The Hardy Boyz's experience in ladder matches came out strong with creative uses of the titular weapon, as the younger brother almost killed himself and Edge with a vicious leg drop.

After more huge spots like Orton's RKO to Punk off the ladder, and Mr. Kennedy destroying Hornswoggle, the man from Green Bay won the bout, and the briefcase he would ultimately drop to Edge just a few weeks later.
