Yet, here he is, continuing to entertain fans every Tuesday, with a consistently loud and positive crowd response. When I say Jeff Hardy is a cockroach, I mean that in the nicest way. Dude can survive anything and still be a beloved hero.

Hardy's WWE return at WrestleMania 33 alongside brother Matt was a nice nostalgia pop. Due to injuries, he wasn't able to return in time to be a factor in WrestleMania 34. If WWE really valued Jeff Hardy as a singles talent, they would go out of their way to give the former world champion a prominent spot at 'Mania 35.

Nothing would be more prominent for Jeff than a match against Bryan for the title, but aside from the marquee value, there's a lot of compelling television you can make in the weeks before. Nowadays, Daniel Bryan is all about his crusades against excess and overconsumption. Who would be a better foil than Jeff "Live in the Moment" Hardy?
