10 Best Opponents For Daniel Bryan At WWE WrestleMania 35
8. Dean Ambrose
Dean Ambrose is in an... awkward position, to say the least, going into WrestleMania season.
Reported by the dirtsheets, and then confirmed by WWE themselves, The Lunatic Fringe has opted not to re-sign with the company, and is seemingly on his way out come April after WrestleMania. Obviously, there's been speculation, rumor, and innuendo about Dean signing with companies like New Japan or All Elite, but the question at present for WWE is this: what do you do with him in the meantime?
Given his jokey promo against Nia Jax the other week, and his apparent reconciliation with Seth Rollins this past Monday, it would appear WWE are letting Dean ride into the sunset as a face, forgetting his regrettable run as a heel over the last four-or-so months.
In that case, Dean has a clean slate, and with that... why not pit him against Bryan? Oh sure, you'd have to jump through some hoops to justify this inter-brand feud, but at this point, wouldn't it be good for both men? For Ambrose, it lets him end his WWE run with a big match and one that'll likely bring the best out of him. For Bryan, it allows him to look like more an evil bell-end, defeating a beloved, badly booked star on his way out.
And hey, maybe with a feud like this... Dean might come back to the negotiating table. Hmm?
