It may not seem like it, but Brock Lesnar and John Cena still have a bit of unfinished business. Cena has yet to get a clean win back over The Beast since the SummerSlam 2014 massacre. He did go over on him via DQ at Clash of Champions the following month, but that’s not really a very satisfying form of revenge.

As it stands, the two are still the biggest draws in WWE. That’s a good enough reason for a rematch as any. They’ve also never battled at WrestleMania, and there’s no telling how long Brock is going to stick around for, so Vince may believe now is the time to make this match happen.

As always, the crowd reaction would be incredible for them; they're truly able to deliver the "big fight feel" like no one else in the entire business. From a pure quality standpoint, past encounters point to them being able to deliver another memorable match. There is a lot to like here from a booking perspective.

While this isn’t the freshest thing WWE can deliver involving Cena, from a business standpoint, though, it may be the safest.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
