The first ever all-female Royal Rumble match was a truly historic moment

It was the culmination of decades of hard work and overcoming oppression, something that should have happened years before. Every single woman in the match deserved to have their moment in the spotlight and, for the most part, they all played their parts perfectly.

The standout of this match was easily The Boss.

Sasha Banks was the perfect choice to enter at number one. She was a reliable worker, popular with the crowd, and she was put up against the perfect opponent - a pre-Man Becky Lynch.

Whilst Lynch was thrown out after half an hour, Banks lasted even longer. She went an impressive 54 minutes 46 seconds and ended up in the final four. She was eventually eliminated by The Bella Twins, because life is cruel.

Only eleven men have lasted longer than Sasha Banks did in 2018. Her performance in the Rumble was seriously impressive and it was made even more so because it took place during such an important match.
