10 Best Performances From Number 1 In WWE Royal Rumble Match
8. The Undertaker - 2008
The 2007 Rumble is famous for a few things - The Great Khali eliminating a bunch of people, The Sandman's entrance lasting longer than his time in the match, and the epic final battle between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker.
The two legends essentially had a singles match in the final stages of the Rumble, going back and forth for around five minutes before The Deadman dodged Sweet Chin Music and threw HBK over the top rope to win the match.
Fast forward one year ahead and Undertaker was facing a very different challenge - the previous year's winner and number thirty entrant was coming in at number one. However, not everything about the 2008 Rumble was unfamiliar for The Phenom, because his old foe was once again standing in his way.
Coming out shortly after 'Taker's entrance (so about forty minutes later) was the same man that he had eliminated to win the Rumble the previous year - Shawn Michaels.
Having Michaels and 'Taker pick up where they left off one year ago was a stroke of genius from WWE and the fact that The Undertaker lasted over half an hour in the match before Michaels threw him out capped things off perfectly.
