10 Best Performers In WWE Money In The Bank History
5. Rob Van Dam
In a match as extreme as Money in the Bank, this was always going to be an environment in which Rob Van Dam would thrive.
The former ECW star has had three outings in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Along the way, he’s delivered a rare blend of both exciting spots and eventual success, having won the 2006 installment prior to his epic cash-in on John Cena at ECW One Night Stand.
But back to the exciting spots I mentioned, and there have been plenty worth recounting. His Five Star Frog Splash to Finlay from the ladder at WrestleMania 22, a top-rope Van Terminator to Lashley at the same event, and multiple Rolling Thunder’s incorporating ladders, are just a few of those such instances.
And that’s not even mentioning that virtuoso performance on his WWE return in 2013. For his longevity, entertainment value, and the success that he achieved in the match itself, RVD surely deserves to be remembered as one of the top five Money in the Bank performers of all time.
