10 Best Post-WrestleMania WWE Raw Moments

5. HBK Says Goodbye (2010)

Two years after bringing down the curtain on Ric Flair's career, Shawn Michaels did the same to his own at WrestleMania XXVI, hanging up his boots for good (and, unlike the Nature Boy, he really did mean for good) after losing to The Undertaker in the night's main event.

Like Flair, HBK then came out on Raw the following night to issue one final goodbye, thanking fans for their support over the preceding couple of decades before sharing a couple of touching moments with Undertaker and real-life best bud Triple H.

For a man who was, in a former life anyway, once accused of being difficult to work with, this seemed incredibly raw and sincere in its delivery. It felt like Michaels had capped off a 180-degree turn, making peace with the industry and all of those he had wronged in the process.

The Heartbreak Kid has made further appearances on Raw, but in contrast to several of his contemporaries, he has yet to be lured back into the ring (and, let's be honest, that's highly unlikely to change in the coming years). This was it; a brilliant note on which to depart.
