10 Best Second Runs In WWE History

7. Goldberg (2016 - Present)

Another performer who lasted just one year in his first WWE run, Goldberg entered McMahon-land as one of the hottest unsigned former WCW stars.

Despite a strong start, Goldberg soon went from one flop after another, culminating in a disastrous final match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XX. After that, Bill would be gone from the company for over 12 years.

Things changed at Survivor Series 2016 when Goldberg squared off against Lesnar once again. 86 seconds later and Big Bill had scored the win in an upset that was as shocking as it was thrilling.

What has followed for Da Man has been a string of big matches, big victories, and World Championship reigns. Whilst his second WWE run hasn't been perfect - his Saudi Arabia appearances alone have been enough to turn some fans against him forever - it's impossible to argue that Goldberg hasn't made far more of an impression on the world of wrestling in this run than he did in his previous one.

And hey, this run is still ongoing, so there's still plenty of time for Bill to move up a few more places on this list... or, alternatively, plummet a few places down...
