When Bobby Lashley first debuted on SmackDown in 2005, you can basically hear Vince McMahon drooling backstage. He was young, athletic, strong, and came with a string of amateur wrestling achievements as big as his biceps.

Whilst Lashley had some memorable moments over the next three years - an ECW Championship reign, a feud with Vince McMahon, The Battle of the Billionaires, etc. - he never quite reached the levels that many hoped he would and was released from the company in 2008.

Over the next decade, Lashley finally began living up to his potential. He made waves in the worlds of MMA, and in the world of pro wrestling he dominated TNA/Impact Wrestling as a four-time World Champion.

Vince's drool was once again audible on the Raw after WrestleMania 34 when Lashley made his WWE return. Over the next four years, Lashley formed the incredibly popular Hurt Business and, on an episode of Raw in March 2021, he finally reached the mountain top by submitting The Miz for the WWE Championship.

It may have taken a little longer than expected, but the All Mighty has finally cemented himself as a main event player in WWE and he continues to put on great performances to this day.
