10 Best Tag Teams In Wrestling Right Now

6. The Usos

The Usos were a sorely underrated babyface tag team for years, contesting all-action bouts with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, most famously. That said, they played the same one-dimensional characters for so long that many naturally considered them immune to character development.

They have excelled as heels in 2017. In-ring, they have transitioned seamlessly from their spectacular double team repertoire to deploy a more loathsome smash mouth style. They're on such a tear right now that they managed to extract Shinola from sh*t at Battleground - Kofi Kingston's stupidly-named and stupidly-conceived Trust Fall - by catching him in mid-air and drilling him with a double powerbomb.

On the microphone, they've fared even better, and it's almost depressing. Their appearances on Talking Smack fleshed out their characters, imbuing them with the confidence with which to deliver, big time, on the big time stage. Their performance in the pre-Battleground rap battle was infamous for its hilariously close-to-the-line dig at a certain controversy ("Big E, let's just keep it PG - you know what's good. Just don't get all rated R, like your boy Xavier Woods!").

But really, the whole segment was performed with such invective that it elevated Jimmy and Jey into the conversation for WWE act of the year - singles, doubles or otherwise.
