10 Best Talkers On WWE’s Full Time Roster
6. Alexa Bliss
Alexa BIiss was not a star in NXT.
She took a back seat while the likes of Sasha Banks, Bayley and Asuka wrestled the type of high-class matches that the 26-year-old isn’t capable of.
But it takes something different - an X-Factor - to be a star on the main roster, which Bliss has got in spades. She is the best talker in the Women’s division, and it isn’t even close.
Bliss has landed on a simple but defined character, and uses classic heel tactics to generate heat, as well as credibility; her in-ring work is still improving. She is also strong and quick-witted enough to handle crowd sabotage better than performers of far greater experience.
The booking of the female talent is still not deep enough for good storylines to run beyond the title scene. WWE trust Bliss to carry title programmes from week to week with her microphone work, which is why they decorate ‘The Goddess’ with gold at every opportunity.
