10 Best Thrown Together WWE Tag Teams
7. Booker T & Goldust
A star in WCW, Booker T endured a difficult time of things during the early part of his run in WWE, only getting the opportunity to wear the world title in 2006 when he traded in the character we all knew and loved for one as an entitled, cape-wearing 'king'.
But, though he couldn't topple Triple H in their World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania XIX, he did form a lasting friendship right around the same time with Goldust.
This tag team was openly portrayed as a complete mismatch; one that threw together a five-time wrestling world champion and an eccentric novelty act. Goldust even began inadvertently costing his opponent victory in his efforts to win his affections.
However, they did eventually get a run with the World Tag Team Titles with victory in a four-way tag team bout at Armageddon 2002, and probably would have held them again were it not for the Tourette's-inducing injury that the Bizarre One suffered early the following year.
