10 Best Times Wrestlers Hit Their Finishers On The Fly
3. Seth Rollins
When: Money In The Bank 2016.
It's generally accepted that Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank 2016 should've been a bit better than it was. The dynamic of the match was off though. People, who were happy to see Seth return from injury and were long-past bored of Roman's incessant push, weren't willing to play along with WWE's story and cheer the "right man".
That gave the headliner a strange atmosphere.
Not to worry. By the end of the match, all was forgiven when Reigns sprinted head first into a Spear and found himself helpless as Rollins transitioned into an unbelievably-good Pedigree. This thing was Triple H 2000 levels of buttery smooth, and it totally caught the live crowd (who were booing the thought that Roman might win) off guard.
It's slightly strange to look back in 2019 and remember that Rollins used the Pedigree at all. His Curb Stomp is a much more fitting move, albeit not one that could've given MITB 2016 this kind of spot transition, right?
