The Dudley Boyz may have been more popular in WWE, they have have cut better promos in ECW but they still did some great work in TNA.

In 2005, the two were surprisingly let go from WWE just a month after being in the main event of One Night Stand. Soon after, TNA brought the “brothers” in, but had to rename them Team 3D, as well as turning Bubba Ray to Brother Ray and D-Von to Brother Devon, as WWE held the intellectual property to the "Dudleyz".

Upon their arrival, they immediately went to war with TNA’s long time tag team America’s Most Wanted, and defeated them in a tables match. Spike then re-joined them as Brother Runt, and together they went after The James Gang.

While Team 3D had their ridiculous moments like the Electrified Six Sides of Steel match, and the Fish Market Street Fight, they gave a lot of credibility to the tag division, and to the company as a whole. Unlike some other former WWE and WCW wrestlers who joined TNA, Team 3D could still go in the ring, and was willing to put over younger talent during their time there.

After four years together in the company, they decided to go their separate ways, and later entered the company’s Hall of Fame.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
