10 Best TNA Tag Teams Ever

5. The Beautiful People

Beautiful People

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky may not have a bunch of title reigns to their name (the Knockouts Tag Titles was only in existence for a couple of years), but together they were one of the most entertaining duos in TNA’s history.

Love and Sky joined forces in 2007, and began dominating the Knockouts division. They were Mean Girls inspired, and bullied everyone who they felt wasn’t as attractive as them, which was just about everyone in the company. After beating their opponents they’d place a paper bag over their head. It was great.

Madison Rayne was another solid addition to the act (Cute Kip and Lacey Von Erich much less so), and the three were often one of the best reasons to watch Impact. Unfortunately, Love had visa troubles and was unable to work in the United States. That was the end of their peak.

Post-Love, the chemistry wasn’t there, and by the time the group reunited, the great Knockouts division was a shell of what it once was.

If you enjoyed LayCool, The Beautiful People did it first, and did it a lot better.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
