10 Best Traditional WWE Survivor Series Matches Ever
6. Team Raw (Shawn Michaels, Kane, Big Show, Carlito & Chris Masters) vs Team Smackdown (Batista, Rey Mysterio, JBL, Bobby Lashley & Randy Orton) - Survivor Series 2005
In something of a precursor to the Bragging Rights PPVs of the late 2000s, 2005's traditional Survivor Series match saw the WWE's two brands square off in a contest which seemed charged with real passion. Faces and heels on either side aligned for the greater good of proving their show was the best, leading to an interesting series of exchanges between superstars you wouldn't usually expect to square off with one another. Predictably, it was the supremely talented Shawn Michaels who stole the show, eliminating Rey Mysterio and JBL in quick succession to almost complete an unlikely turnaround for Raw...only for the rising star of Randy Orton to nail him with the RKO and begin his streak of good fortune at Survivor Series events. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x106n3f_team-smackdown-vs-team-raw-survivor-series-2005_sport The drama didn't end after the final pinfall however, as a flaming casket appeared at the top of the ramp to cut short the Smackdown roster's wild in-ring celebrations. Orton sold his terror fantastically as the Undertaker burst out of the structure to make his return, yelling at his fellow superstars to put him down and let him escape.
