10 Best Traditional WWE Survivor Series Matches Ever
4. The BodyDonnas (Skip, Zip, Rad Radford & 1-2-3 Kid) vs The Underdogs (Marty Jannetty, Hakushi, Barry Horowitz & Bob Holly) - Survivor Series 1995
This match is a classic example of the undercard filler upstaging the far more loaded bouts at the top of the bill. The cast list is hardly star-studded; The BodyDonnas teamed up with the 1-2-3 Kid (a very young X-Pac) and Rad Radford to put on an absolute barnburner against Marty Jannetty, Hakushi, Barry Horowitz, and Bob Holly. Perhaps mainly due to the in-ring ability of the Kid and Jannetty, the match became an unexpected classic, with many outrageous high-flying moves coming out of nowhere to surprise the crowd - most notably a fantastic top rope powerbomb. The fact that this match is remembered as the most impressive - even on a card of traditional Survivor Series matches involving the likes of Undertaker and Shawn Michaels - speaks volumes about its quality. It goes to show that the elimination tag format allows any wrestler to shine regardless of their position on the card, unlike certain stipulations which only really suit main event feuds without seeming overblown.
