10. The Rock vs. Triple H vs. Kurt Angle (WWF SummerSlam 2000)
The only reason this match is so far down in the list is because it often felt less like all 3 performers were fully involved. Early in the bout, Kurt Angle was nailed with a Pedigree through the announce table by Triple H. The move largely limited Angle's involvement going forward, because he was legitimately knocked loopy by the stunt. Therefore, The Rock and Triple H carried most of the bout. If there's one thing the year 2000 proved, it's that The Rock and 'The Game' could work miracles together. It's difficult to find a match between both men that wasn't superb. Throw Kurt Angle into the mix, and the recipe is there for some stunning action. The then-WWF had their chaotic main event formula down to a fine art in 2000, and this match is no exception. The ongoing love triangle storyline involving Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle was gripping. The Rock was the man the fans wanted to see emerge victorious, and he would eventually grab the win. Even better, it was the tension between the love birds that helped him do it.
