First and foremost, what this match had going for it was a hot crowd. The fans there in Pittsburgh that night were incredibly excited. They just knew it was going to be Daniel Bryan's night. He would "wow" the world with his performance against Bray Wyatt, then be a surprise entrant in the Rumble later that night, where he would "wow" the world again, win, and be on his way to WrestleMania as the rightful owner of a guaranteed shot at the WWE World Title. Everyone knows how that would all play out by the end of the night, but this match was very solid, featuring two motivated participants. It was a very physical contest, with both men going the extra mile to beat the hell out of their opponent.
