10 Best Unscripted Moments In WWE History

3. MSG Curtain Call

In early 1996, it had become common knowledge that Razor Ramon and Diesel would be leaving WWE for the far more lucrative lands of WCW. Their final date for Vince McMahon was a house show at Madison Square Garden. The Kliq might be well known to you now, but not many fans were smart to the group's existence back then. You can only imagine the shock - and horror on the part of the old timers and traditionalists of the business - when the foursome of Messrs Hall, Nash, Michaels and Helmsley broke Kayfabe as they said their goodbyes to each other in front of a packed arena. Earlier in the night Razor and HHH met in a match while the main event saw Diesel (C) and Shawn Michaels go at it in steel cage. After HBK won the match, he got back in the cage and picked Nash up, Razor and Helmsley made their way down the ramp. There's no doubting that Vince McMahon gave the foursome his blessing to head out. Maybe he expected Michaels and Diesel to stay in the ring with their pals stayed on the ramp. It's safe to assume the last thing he was expecting was the four of them to hug in the ring. Even though fans were becoming smarter as the 90s rolled along, it was still as shocking a moment that you'll ever see in the business. Aren't unplanned moments great?
