10. Regain The United States Championship
John Cena's time with the United States Championship in 2015 made the midcard a focal point of WWE programming, and it was truly a breath of fresh air for a sector of WWE which had grown stale in recent years. Not only were fans almost guaranteed a title match each week on Raw, WWE could place the John Cena United States Open Challenge anywhere on the card and have a guaranteed ratings boost without featuring a main event feud. That's simply good booking. Since Cena's soft US Title loss to Alberto Del Rio and subsequent absence, the title has again become an afterthought. Having the championship bounce between Alberto Del Rio and Kalisto isn't exactly an effective method of maintaining the title's prestige. Renewing the John Cena United States Open Challenge would be a great way to add intrigue back into the midcard, especially after Cena's run with the title was cut short by Cena needing to take time off and the torn labrum injury that followed.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
