If John Cena is to again initiate his United States Open Challenge on a weekly basis, it would require him to, you know, gain the United States Championship. If the way things appear to be going continue through WrestleMania, Ryback will win the US Title from Kalisto and embark on a title run that will feature The Big Guy going over the various little guys that step up to him. This offers the perfect opportunity for John Cena to return and end Ryback's run. However, the program should be more detailed than Cena returning and claiming the title. While you ultimately want Cena to be in possession of the championship at the end of the feud, it doesn't have to be at the expense of Ryback and result in the months of work putting him over going down the drain. The program could be booked similar to Cena's feud with Kevin Owens upon Owens' main roster debut, allowing Ryback to go over while not being the overall winner. Ryback could then be inserted into other prominent feuds while the United States Open Challenge makes its return.
