10 Best Ways AEW Can Book Sting
3. Undertaker Type Figure
Ever since Sting's debut as The Crow, he and The Undertaker have never been able to escape the comparisons. To be fair, if Sting had debuted as a fresh-faced rookie with this gimmick last week, instead of being an established legend, it'd never work, because people would just say he was an Undertaker rip off.
While it is refreshing AEW don't rely on part-timers to draw an audience and have instead built up a credible active roster that performs week in week out, it wouldn't hurt to have a megastar show up only once in a while. Plus, what would we rather see as fans, Sting work every week and burn himself out, or show up for a couple of months at a time for the next few years? The correct answer is the second one; nobody wants to see another beloved veteran become old and slow and tarnish their legacy.
So maybe AEW could do us all a favor and have our favorite Icon as a part-timer, popping up when needed. That way we get to see Sting on our screens for years to come, and we'll always get out of nowhere returns that pop the crowd - just like last week.
