10 Best Women's Matches In WWE NXT History
2. Asuka Vs. Ember Moon (2017 - TakeOver: Brooklyn)
Yeah, it's Asuka and Ember Moon again - this time their most recent effort at Saturday's TakeOver: Brooklyn show, wherein the NXT Women's Champion extended her record-setting title run with yet another dominant display.
The face-heel dynamics didn't work as WWE planned, of course. A face on paper, Ember struggled to command the support of the crowd, with nobody in Brooklyn in any doubt as to who they wanted to see walk out of the Barclays Centre with the strap around their waist.
In this day and age, though, that's hardly much different from the norm, and if Asuka's heel performance fell down (through no fault of her own, really), her wrestling game was on point yet again.
This was one for the history books, and if it is to be the champ's last before she heads for greener main roster pastures, it's a fitting way to bow out.
